I decent want to download apache, but don't understand what to do for the vhosts file setup to get it up and running. Thanks.
Well understood hosting can get confusing.. Just get a control panel and let it handle the setup you'll keep from going nuts!
even lets you add "resellers" "users" etc with a web interface!
Try http://zervex.com they have a unconditional one easy to install or http://webmin.com (too complicated for some) or
http://www.web-cp.net/ uncover source good product
almost forgot http://sourceforge.net/projects/ispconfi g/

How do I restart Apache on my GoDaddy.com hosting account?
Dec 06, 2008 by Rockstar | Posted in Programming & Design
I made some changes to php.ini, and I patently need to restart Apache. I don't know how to do this. I've searched the web, and every article assumes you are the host and you can access the server quickly. How do I do this remotely with a goDaddy account?
I don't meditate on GoDaddy would give you that kind of permissions on their servers. If there is an admin control panel that allowed you to condense the php.ini file, then they should have a Save button or something like that. It may just take some time for the changes to take potency. You can always call their tech support. JR
