Using image hosting sites to save bandwidth?

I'm looking into making a website but it's a graphics spot which i would need to upload MANY pictures. I'm looking into a way to save bandwidth and i was wondering if I put all my images onto the instal via HTML from photobucket, would that use any of my web hosting's bandwidth?
PhotoBucket will right away shut down any image which is being requested too much as you do have bandwidth allowances on their site. Excessive use will cause your account to be closed. Every browser viewing your pages will send an http refer ask for to PhotoBucket for your images.
Best to buy a hosting package that allows you sufficient bandwidth for your type of situate.
