I'm difficult to find a way to host a game online for other people to play, and I have heard I need a dedicated server to do so. I am not very close with how this works, so could someone please advise me on what to do? Thank you for the help!
You will be delineated root access to the server and you can upload your applications to your server. A dedicated server account as usual allows you more bandwidth and CPU usage than a shared hosting account. You will not have the same restriction like when you are on shared server.
If you destitution a recommendation for a dedicated hosting that does not suck, try http://hostingsthatsuck.com/serverpronto -sucks/

What is the best Dedicated Server Hosting company (for a video game)?

I wanted to buy a Garry's Mod dedicated server.
I'm looking into 'Art of War (http://artofwarcentral.com/)' but I find that for 1 month, it's 20 bucks, and and added 4 buck's a slot. I think that's a little much, but if that's the average price now-a-day's, then so be it.
Thanks for your lend a hand!

scarceness to host a Star Wars Battlefront II dedicated game server on my PC. But my connection is only 384K, so you can presume the lag... :(
I want to host a server with 32 or 40 people on it, using my computer as a server. I will also use the same computer to pleasure in the server (this is so I can have a dedicated server while still being able to play in it).
What kind of bandwidth do I need? 3M? 6M?
Thanks :D
