No....

It depends, with dedicated hosting you will get your own server with additional connectivity selection –VPN , remote desktop ….- and usually you will get a dedicated IP with it.

With dedicated IP, it is not necessary to have your own server, you could be sharing the server with multiple users.

Does Does having a SSL/Dedicated IP Necessary in your Web hosting account?

I lust after to purchase hosting to use for a wordpress blog and it gave me the option to choose SSL/Dedicated IP, do i have purchase that or i could legitimate leave it out.

no u distress not to purchase SSL/dedicated IP. u can use shared IP also

I'm looking for a cheese-paring web host with a dedicated IP address that is located in the United States. I was going to go with Galaxy visions but upon dealing with their sales/verify staff I realized they were a VERY small company that could fold overnight. There is a sea of hosts out there, but not many in the Shared States that offer dedicated IP addresses for a good price...any suggestions?
