Has anyone signed up as a hosting and domain reseller?

Made any affluence at it? Trying to decide if it's worth it or not.
Profit margin isn't the greatest, but cheap to notify up.

There can be a lot of monied in it but its a hard industry as you need to know what you are doing or have the money or a partner who knows both the marketing side of the organization and the tech side. It can also be worthwhile if you are a designer and just have clients you want to host their sites for a small stream of recurring revenue.

I started a small hosting company during college and loved it but as at intervals went on it was hard being a one man show. Especially if there is a server problem and you are trying to get your customers sites up as astute as possible. I eventually sold it to a bigger host because of reasons like that but it helped pay for my college.

btw, profit margins get best if you get your own server and the more domains you have for a domain reseller.

who has the cheapest whole buying rates?

are there any decent ones that dont require an up front fee?

the only one i looked in to was go daddys

i dont like go daddy but i recollect they have a decent reseller program maybe its because i have no other company to compare it to
