Does anyone know of a good web hosting domain site?

I am looking to establish a web site for a small business. Web domain hosting that is not expensive and is easy to use. anyone know of any web hosing sites that are best?

GoDaddy is a honest one.

Its currently on freewebs which i find very uncertain as it won't let you use FTP to update your site. I also registered the domain at freewebs.

I was considering transferring the domain/hosting to 123 reg .
Can anyone recommend this friends?
The site (see below) has only a few pages at the moment so i don't need more than a basic hosting package.

Any good recomendations for lofty value solid basic hosting (uk based)?

Preferably Australian. I need something that holds at least a couple of Gigs and that can also offer domain name registration.
I'll just add that I'm not interested in geocities, angelfire, tripod etc.

Hi! The most consequential thing is to never never register a domain through your hosting company. They can then use that to blackmail you to stay on their hosting if there is a problem, you want to come home to a domain and keep control of it, so register a domain at enom.com or godaddy.com and then just update the DNS servers to position to your host. It is easy to do.

For a nice cheap Australian hosting company you might try

But i haven't tried either of those yourself.

I would like to own my Domain Name, yet, I'm not at all established in how this works. I looked over unite prices, and had noticed an proffer of $5.00 a month for a Domain Name. Does this indicate, I can own my Domain own Name, without having to hold a full incorporate, for $5.00 a month, only? I already have a unshackled domain, but would like to own the name.
