Hello,

i have registred my domain name with netfirms.ca and then i got my hosting from godaddy.com

godaddy said i requisite to update my DNS numbers with theirs.. i went to my netfirms account and updated DNS..

when i personification my domain name address it still opens my netfirms (free hosting) page..

question #1: how lengthy does it take for DNS to update so it points to my godaddy account.

question #2: anyone relaxed with godaddy, in control pannels.. it says domain name: and then Server IP Address-whats that ip address that it shows me?

cast doubt upon #3: anyone familiar with godaddy.com, in DNS control is says:
A(Host)
Host: @ points to xx.xxx.xxx.xx

whats that @ connotative of? do i need to change it?

in cnames(aliases)
www points to @
do i need to change that? or run it all at defaults.

question #4: anyone familiar with netfirms.ca, in domains manager i can onward my domain to a different location. for now it points to my netfirms.. should i change that to godaddy? IP?
