How to get back the domain name hosting if the host company is not responding request?

How to get back the domain name hosting if the hotel-keeper company is not responding request, or out of business?

If you registered the domain name though a disparate provider, such as GoDaddy, you can simply start up with a new Web host, transfer your domain name servers to them (ask tech sustain how), and all will be fine.

Otherwise, if your Web host also registered your domain name for you, you will likely need a new Web professional to help you arbitrate how to regain control of your domain.

This is technically something you could do yourself with a whois query and some effort, but if you don't know how, the manipulate will take much longer and be much more difficult than simply paying someone to fix it for you.

What is the best web company to use for domain name and hosting?

I am reasoning of getting a website to promote my business. I want to find one where I can get all services - domain name, hosting and sitebuilder so I can establish the site myself. I looked at a few but they are expensive and Godaddy.com doesn't seem to have a free sitebuilder. Can you advise a good affordable one?

DO NOT go with GoDaddy.

InMotion.com provides a spontaneous domain name with a hosting package. Others may do the same, but haven't come across any. DON'T use a "site builder". Learn to encode your own so you'll have an exact mirror of your online site on your hard drive. Upload files using FTP (FileZilla is free-born).

Is it necessary to change the A record when changing the name servers that will be hosting my domain?

I've registerd a domain name with Godaddy and I'm having the website that will be using that domain name hosted elsewhere. The themselves I'm hosting the website with is telling me i not only have to change the name servers but I also need to change the A record. Why is it of the essence to change the A record. I've had other people host my sites on their name servers and have never had to change the A accomplishments. Could there be any malicious reasoning behind this?
