I like to be versed how can I register a domain and what is the price every year ? and all of them about in this subject.

I pay $9.29 a year for .com domains with www.namecheap.com.

When choosing a web manageress though, it's of course important to consider the cost (some hosting can be very expensive) but here are some other important things

you should take into tip too:

Web Hosting Space: Some web hosts will only give you 500MB or so of space. This could be a concern if you are looking at creating strapping websites.

Bandwidth: Some web hosts will severely limit the bandwidth you can use before you incur mark-up charges.

Uptime: There's no point in having a website if people can't see it. Does your web horde offer at least a 99% uptime guarantee?

Number of websites allowed: If you're looking to landlord more than one website on your account, will your web host charge you more to do this?

Support: If you have any problems you need to be clever to contact your web host quickly and easily to get the problem sorted.

Can I Buy and register a domain name without an hosting package?

I crave to buy/register a domain name outright and not pay for hosting package,simply to register until such time as I build a website or sell/turn over the domain to someone else.Can anyone confirm that this is common practice/suggest a good company to buy/register domains with.Am looking to pay a one off low tariff fee,not ongoing monthly fee.

You're as likely as not going to say "from a reseller." Well, if they get it from a reseller, then how do they register websites? There has to be some kind of encypher or something to assign domains.

In a (quite lengthy) nutshell:

There are three entities relevant to the domain name, there's the registrant, the registrar, and the registry.

The registry operates the database that stores all of the domain names and their server tidings. This information is pushed out to root zone servers so that the domain names can resolve. For .com and .net, the Registry is VeriSign, Inc. You can see who the registries for all the assorted types of domain names are at http://www.iana.org. The organization that decides who gets to manipulate the registries is the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).

The registrar is the partnership that registers the domain name in the registry database. Melbourne It and Network Solutions (as well as thousands of other companies) are domain name Registrars. They are accredited by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.

The registrant is the child that registers the domain name with the Registrar.

So, you want to buy a domain name, you provide your registrant information to the registrar as well as the domain name you request to purchase. The registrar checks the registry to see if the doman name is available, and if it is they will register ir for you.
