I don't recollection ads if they're unobtrusive. I just want a free, easy forum creation/hosting site. It's for a writers' body I am starting.
If anything, can you give me tips for picking one?
Invision, but if you have a mySQL database I approve SMF as a forum.

What is the best free forum hosting service?
Jun 24, 2008 by signs_of_poetry | Posted in Other - Computers
We are chummy with various forum hosting services, especially Invision Power Board, however, we are open to other suggestions. We are looking for advanced features, and a owner-friendly interface with a pleasant appearance. We would also appreciate a highly active prop forum where we can inquire about forum issues as well as advertise our forum.
We need a direct web address, and not just the name of the provider.
Appreciation you.
http://www.000WEBH0ST.com might fit the bill. You are asking for a lot, but they have Cpanel for free, and that covers a lot of the bases.

Can you advise me of a good site with free forum hosting?
Aug 07, 2007 by permanent_denial | Posted in Programming & Design
Hi, my friends and I have set up a website, and we be to add a forum to it, by linking to it from the current website.
I am hoping someone can advise me of a good site for free forum hosting?
I tried freewebs forums, but they are ready to any freewebs user and we don't want that. I tried eamped, but it doesn't allow the aid up of the forum, and we also noticed there was a guest (not registered user) who somehow had access to every area of the forum, including surreptitiously messsages! So I have issues with the security there.
I'd be extremely grateful if anyone can recommend a good milieu for me! Also, if you have had experience of different forum hosting sites, please tell me about it!
Thank you!
(btw we want to take the free route to see how the site performs)
Re: phbb.com how do I fix in place it to my webserver?
I am using freewebs for the site's main pages.
(I'm a beginner to all of this lol!)
I would like a phpbb strain forum, because I have a little experience with that! I tried forumer but there's a problem with the registration process, can anyone stand up for any others please?
And if you have experiences with a particular type of forum hosting, please say what you thought of it! Thank you!
I would have gone for the hv7.net one, but all the spelling mistakes on their webpage correct me doubt them!
