What is the best shared Microsoft Exchange hosting service?

I am looking for a shared Microsoft Exchange 2003 hosting advantage, suitable for hosting about five (5) personal email accounts. It needs to be reliable, with a ample quota, and access via Outlook Web Access (OWA).
I have found the 1&1 (1and1.com) hosted Microsoft Exchange service to be from head to toe interesting when considering the features and price, but they don't have the best ratings and reviews.

but try cihost.com.. i have been using them. was proof, but recently my shared server has been some problems. my history with them is about 8+yrs

Microsoft Exchange is a server based email program. If you are a big enough partnership you would have your own servers to run it on. If you are an individual or small company there are places like http://www.1and1.co.uk who will do you an email only package deal. They host email servers on their own premises and you use a normal email client like MS Fast or Mozilla Thunderbird to retrieve it.

Hello,

We have a Microsoft Windows 2000 Server territory with approximately 8 Windows 2000 servers and 80 workstations.

We are not running Hyperactive Directory or any domain based policies. Its a simple network really. We currently use Position 2003 with POP3 email that is hosted by our ISP.

We want to deploy Microsoft Exchange server so that Outlook 2003 can use more advanced features like calendaring, etc. We desideratum to also have Outlook Web Access.

Do we need to convert to active directory, or can I do this without having to transmute right now?

Please advise ... thank you!

You must have spry directory to use exchange server 2000 or 2003. It is not very difficult to install active directory extraordinarily if you don't plan to use group policies but if you do decide to deploy it I would recommend using a 2003 server as the kingdom controller as there are many improvements to active directory from 2000.
