I don't need to pay monthly for yahoo's ecommerce program. I have tried to install Prestashop, but Yahoo does not have php 5, i have tried to position magento, same issue. Plus they do not support .htaccess file, which I have found to be a big issue. Does anyone be versed of any shopping carts yahoo hosting DOES support?
Yahoo web hosting plainly sucks. I am afraid you are at lost my friend. I would go with anything but Yahoo hosting. Anything that does not support PHP5 should be avoided. Even if you handle to install a shopping cart, PHP4 does not have the security you need for an ecommerce hosting and you may get in plague later on. What I usually do is when before I choose a host are the following:
1. Go to the webhost review sites such as webhostingjury or webhostinggeeks and liber veritatis down about 3 common top hosting companies.
2. Next, for each web hosting X, do a “X sucks” search on Google. Understand some complaints and see if you may encounter the same problems like them. Some of the complaints may relate to certain groups of users only such as VPS, dedicated server users or resellers. So you may not be fake if you are not from these categories.
3. Eliminate those hostings you feel uncomfortable with, and look for the best give-away hosting for your money.
There are other much better hosts such as Fatcow, InMotion and Webfaction which offer one-click ecommerce software establishment. Time for you to move from Yahoo I guess...

i insufficiency a new site builder, i have go daddy unlimited hosting and want to install 3rd party applications off of hosting connetion, but i cant do that with website tonight, what are some neighbourhood builders i could use, that support godaddy hosting?
ANY programs that fashion normal HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, SQL sites. If you can't tell what a program produces you shouldn't be criticism your own sites, you should be uploading something that's already made. Take a look at http://www.opensourcecms.com/ and see if there's anytnhing you can use. (They're unlock, you can set them up without knowing any programming, and they all have forums on which you can get help.)

Here is something commendable. I must say I am very impressed with the web hosting support from Hostgator.
I am in the make of migrating a specialization over to a their servers, and I was experiencing some issues getting a big mySQL database dossier imported. I headed to their complete palaver, and I was advised to submit a support ticket for my point.
So on I went to submit a support ticket thru email, explaining my the actuality. MINUTES later, there was a response in email asking for confirmation, and within 20 minutes, I received another answer (from a solitary support administrator) saying the database has been imported successfully.
