Looking for web hosted shopping cart solution with recurring bill payment feature for sale of digital products

I have a patron who wants his website visitors to pay for his articles. For example, a years payment would authorize you access to his premium articles.

I need a solution where it supports recurring payment payment

So I'm looking for a product that allows client to sell his digital artefact (articles) and collect payment for a year before he has to collect payment again for the next year.

Any suggestions for this?

I on the side of a Web 2.0 solution not so much for the sake of the name of 2.0 but just because there have been some really cost effectual 2.0 tools out there in the ecommerce world that has come along. But whatever works is also fine with me as well.

I had Miva shopping cart but my web host closed. Any ecommerce carts that don’t require special hosting?

I have a specilty oils and candles web location. I was hosting with a local provider who had Miva cart included with the web hosting plan. The webhost closed, went out of corporation with out notice. Luckily I have my domain but I lost everything else with my web site because it was all on the server. I am very frustrated and would like to restart my ecommerce web locale, but I donot want to be held hostage by a web host ever again. I am looking for a ecommerce cart I can run on my own servers or proprietor anywhere with no strings attached. Frustrated!!!

What you lack is Actinic ecommerce software.

You can host it almost anywhere and since it lives on your home computer, if your next server disappeared you would still have all your files so you could scarcely open up shop on another server within minutes.

Unlike Miva once you buy the software you have no monthly fees.

You can also buy a mould and import your products from Quickbooks so you can redeploy your website fast.

Easy better web host and shopping cart. ?

I been asking for a bettor web host and shopping cart on this for a while. Most of the people who answered are working for web host company. I need honest customers to answer my question.
I'm looking for a easy to use web host and easy create shopping cart. No ticket request crap all the time. and complete turtorial for me to understand.
For prototype how myspace can be decorate with lay outs by just place existing codes in "league". If web host can be simple as that, it would be wonderful.
