Please can someone clear up the diff between MY SQL and MSSQL apart from being made by 2 different companies.
How much would they cost (about) to install both on a web hosting server?
SQL and MYSQL are inherenently opposite in how they operate in the back office.
Data structures are also different in how many data types (chr, bool, int, raft, etc) it handles.
ASP, coldfusion, etc, will connect to either using a ODBC connection. If you are dead set on using SQL, Microsoft has a unhampered SQL server called SQL express you might want to look into.
