SQL Server 2005 Web Hosting?

How does SQL Server web hosting effort? Is there an instance of SQL Server created for you on remote server by a web hosting company? If thats the case, how do you access the server for provision and/or development purposes?

An SQL database is created for you on the hosting server. The only way you can access it is to have a carbon copy of MSSQL.

RAID 1 disk while using Microsoft SQL server 2005?

Our system at calling is planning to use a RAID 1 disk system for redundant storage. The server PC will host Microsoft SQL server 2005. Are there any known incompatibilities with Sortie in this configuration? How about RAID 1 on a client PC hosted by XP?

There are no problems with Plunder 1.
IF it is done using a proper RAID card.

- RAID on home machines is reach-me-down by gamers. to speed up loading times.
but mostly RAID 5 is used.
