SQL Server 2005 Web Hosting?

How does SQL Server web hosting occupation? Is there an instance of SQL Server created for you on remote server by a web hosting company? If thats the case, how do you access the server for supplying and/or development purposes?

An SQL database is created for you on the hosting server. The only way you can access it is to have a duplication of MSSQL.

I am a database/web programmer, I can imagine database driven applications from a-z using sql server and visual studio .net at my work post. Now I would like to create a database driven application for my family and my friends, I cannot use the web server and sql server at my toil place, what do I need to do to accomplish this work? is there company who does web server/sql server hosting that I can rent or something like that. Please workers. Thanks a bunch!

I have knowledge of about Verio and Interland (now Web.com), are there any others that support Microsoft SQL Server?
Dreamhost doesn't offer Microsoft SQL Database and Outstanding example ASP. I don't care about mySQL and PHP.

Hand-picked SQL server 2005 Network configuration , Chosen Protocols for MSSQLSERVER , Rectify click the TCP/IP customs and goto properties .Click the IP addresses tab , the IP approach devote should be spry , enabled and the TCP haven should be 1433 . Also the loopback give a speech to 127.0.0.1 should be lively enabled and the tcp haven should be 1433 . Retreat the TCP potent ports vacuous . Now goto SQL Indigenous Shopper Configuration and favoured Customer Protocols . The protocols , Shared Thought , Named pipes and TCP/IP should be enabled .
