Why the web hosting is so portly and cheap in USA? As in China, 1G web hosting is 30-100$ in average, and 10$ to sign a domain. But 50$ can buy 1000G here with a lavish domain,
Why they are so cheap here?
A lot of match for USA hosting, pushes price down and dollar is 'cheap' now. Resources cheaper in USA?

Is there an advantage hosting my web page in the USA. Currently asian traffic only?

At the second http://www.unusedrooms.com is hosted in Australia and we do very well with our rankings in the search engines. Most of our traffic is from this region (Asia/Pacific) and we do well but very little traffic comes from the USA.
Would hosting a site in the USA or UK help me pull customers from those areas.
All of our hits come directly from search engines with no advertising so that will not agitate the traffic.
We are a hotel and tour based site in all regions, with no emphasis on any unequivocal area.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Hi. Looking at your website - I'm not shocker why you seem to be getting a lot of traffic from Asia. Here is the reason - the word "Singapore" were use 8X. You also touch on MRT China Town.
Search engines use keyword to track which site size what and rank them according to how many time the keyword use in a particular website.
Most search locomotive would think that your site is related to Aisa not US since non of your frontpage mentioned about US. Even if you host your area in the US - you won't get traffic from US if you solely rely on search engines to find your sites.
Server unearthing - has nothing to do with traffic to your site - it is better for you to learn about search engine optimization. Devise another pages - that have more info about US - only then you can attract US visitors.
