Whats the difference between Linux web hosting and Windows web hosting?

Heya Please acquaint someone with something em what the difference is between linux web hosting and windows web hosting. I made my site by dreamweaver does that affect either of the 2 i should determine please tell me thanx!

I have Qwest internet, and I be to know if there is a way that I can get web hosting from them. Otherwise, does anyone know of any sites that are relatively inexpensive and effective for web hosting?

I made a photographic design web site in dreamweaver and now I want a web hosting site for it. What would be the best one to get. I don't need any paypal capabilities. I only lack one domain, but I will need alot of other pages as I have alot of artwork.
