I have a website through Yahoo Web Hosting. I will be changing the name of my friends in May, 2009. My domain name is the current name of my company. How can I change the domain name and keep the site up and running?

Depending on how Yahoo set up the hosting, just now put your website files into the new directory of your new domain name. It's a very easy thing and contacting Yahoo for delineated directions would probably be your best bet.

When I did web hosting I found my Domain name in manifold company ?
- What is the different between them, why not both in one company?
- Do I have to know what company my domain are?
- and what Unlock ?
- Private/available?
- Auth code?

Let me rejoin your questions one by one.

- What is the difference between them, why not both in one company?

Web hosting is a service that offers you a web space to house your website, whereas domain name is fair-minded a locator to help people find your website. That's why you need to register a domain name in conjunction with a web hosting ceremony.

For example, if you've registered a domain name say, XYZ.com, then by simply typing XYZ.com into my web browser, I will be able to get on your website.
