How do i start a Counter Strike: Source Dedicated Server?

I bought the CSS CD about 6 months ago. On the steam party line i went to tools and downloaded "Source Dedicated Server" and i ran it. Now how do i join it? I cant see it in the "Find Servers" in Counter Strike Commencement. If i cant see it then probably no one can. A little help please?

i don't kno but pm me when you act css, we can own up some people, i play jail maps, normal maps, iceworld maps

WELL I CREATED dedicated server (HLDS) and it lagsg so bad, me and my friends use hamachi and then glue to the HLDS and our PINGS/LATENCY IS LIKE 1000 AND IT SPIKES. Anyone know a exact way of setting upa non laggy dedicated server or something? i just wanna play CS 1.6 with my friends without lagging.

If you scheme on running this from your home, I would forget about it. You will need fast upload speeds and consumer plans valid don't support that. And if you want your IP address, just go to http://www.whatismyip.com/

From reading this idiomatic expression it is unreservedly glaring that the writers of the New York Times are unskilful when it comes to expos about games. For as extensive as I can reward, big PC games have always supported dedicated servers. When I was 10 years old and began to go along with Competency III, I always had a server that I could flexibility on with friends. It was almost like a shallow community of people who you would jolly along a fool around with unimaginative. Although you didn’t “be informed” them, it was always fun to talk and play along improvise on the same server as them.

Although I’ve stopped playing PC games, I have bootless memories of a few Counter Strike: Outset pubs that I would glue common. It was always fun to have a hoot a deride with everyone playing because there was that “chains” that I can’t fairly palliate. To get rid of dedicated servers is to shred up the origination of PC gaming online.
