Question on Dedicated Micors DVR Power Mains/Power Cord?

Can anyone recomend a good multicard reader or just a solo card reader than can read Micro SD cards (8gig).?

I have had two so far, dedicated Micro SD readers and both have stopped working after a abruptly time. Others are having the same problem with Micro SD readers. Anyone know a good honest one that works?
