I was recently looking for a host for my website. It tooks me months of searching and finaly I cam up with ipower, they specify a really good services at competitive prices.
I really liked their 24 Hour alight chat, and so far they have not given me any problems.
There dedicated hosting plans start from US$49 per month.
While their shared services start style US$3.95 per month.

Who Would Be A Reliable Dedicated Web Host For A Relatively Large MP3 Site?

Hi there,

I am searching for a responsible dedicated hosting company that will be able to meet the needs of my future music situation. On my site, users will be able to upload/ download mp3's as well as upload photos. I am not altogether sure what I am going to need in terms of plans, or how many page views(est: >300,000)/ mp3 downloads I will be getting a month, but remember that I want to be on the safe side, and insure that there will not be a server overload, allowing at least several hundred people to access the site at the same era, without it slowing down. Users will be able to preview music as well , and I want to make steadfast that this function works smoothly without having connection issues due to too much activity at any prone time. I am not entirely sure how many users will be uploading music, however, I am estimating that I will have over 50 GB of music on the place. I need a cost-effective solution, but do not want to cut corners with a plan that cannot substantiate the site. Thank you!
Sorry for not mentioning--these mp3's will be copyrighted by the users who uploaded. There will be assuredly no piracy on the site.
Also meant to add, I have no interest in using shared hosting--These shared hosting companies sometimes put thousands of sites on the same server, and cannot carry on the amount of transfer/storage that they offer. The sites have a "fair use" clause, and will instantly send to Coventry c close off one's site down, if it's clogging up the server. Just to clarify, I am NOT expecting at least 300,000 downloads a month, but 300,000 foot-boy views. This is a very rough estimate, but would be about 10,000 page views a day.

Their support is also really, at the end of the day good. Whenever I've had any trouble or questions about anything and submitted a ticket to their support department, they've gotten back to me with an accept the blame for within a couple hours.
They are the best I've ever worked with.

Can someone with NO experience set up a web page with a dedicated host/server?

I prerequisite to start my own website up with a dedicated server/host.

I am very inexperienced on the computer.

Would this be impossible for me to set up myself?

Somedays from ehat i study i think that its totally doable but then others i think OMG!!!!

Please help me so i can then take the next step.

Well, it depends on a four of things.
1) Are you going to pay for it. If so they usually have lots of features that are user friendly that anyone can do.
2) If you aren't prevailing to pay for it than there's lots of tutorials on how to. Again there are sites that are user friendly and you can easily create one, or you can do it the advanced way, which requires HTML discernment, SQL and PHP knowledge.
3) If you are going to do it the advanced way here's what you need:

There will possibly be little problems along the way but just Google them and it will help. One of my problems was that I couldn't access my neighbourhood because I had a router that had a feature that restricts access from the same IP, I just use a proxy for my server.
Then after you've got all that, you can do either of two things:
1) Set up a DNS so people standard in that address to get to your website:
www.dyndns.com/
This is a great website for that.
2) Give them your ip:
http://www.whatismyip.com/
I hankering this helps and doesn't get you too blown away. I know that it is a lot of information, but it is required. Wish you have fun with it.
