Hi,
I am in the UK and currently rental a server in New York from which to do business. Recently I've been calling into question the reliability and speed of internet access it is providing. Can anyone give counsel as to which is the best service out there? Thanks.
No theory. I just came here because I think you're hawt!
(Hi and Thanks? I like how polite you are when you distress something) ;-)

I want to run a online forum, would I need a dedicated server?
Jan 06, 2007 by Spikey_Jay | Posted in Other - Internet
I want to run a forum about car cruising in my parade-ground UK based, I am just wanting to know what type of server I would need. I am mainly suffering about bandwidth and if I go over the bandwidth.
If you know of any good hosting services please post a in!
I am also unsure about bandwidth, there will be about 200 a day visiting the site. Not including crawlers etc.
I can serve you out with this.. Get ahold of me (click name on left - send me an email) and I can get you up and running!

Hi, Does anyone have a Source Dedicated server?
Aug 01, 2008 by James B | Posted in Computer Networking
Hi, I'm having a lot of grieve with my Source dedicated server. i start the server. it says the ip is 192.168.2.2:27015 but it isn't, no one can connect to it. so i find out that they need my external ip which is 86.133.4.225(:27015) and then they still cant attach to it. i have allowed it through my firewall but i still don't know whats up. please does anyone know? if they do are they able to do God-forsaken assistance to help me complete it? my MSN is jambo3@hotmail.co.uk.
thanks!
Hi there,
you for to make sure the server and your internal PC are on the same IP and subnet range. even if it means disconnecting from the internet, manually changing the IP give a speech to to one which is in its range... you need to be on the same range to configure the server.
Also where is your NAT enabled? you need to cause sure that is correctly configured so that external pc's can connect.
Is your server set up to be a domain controller or a terminating server? either way... make sure you have remote access enabled.
to me it sounds like a modest IP config problem. tell me your IP address, default gateway, and subnet. and also the servers.
