How do I make a VPS hosting company on a Debian Server?
Aug 27, 2009 by bikcmp2 | Posted in Programming & Design
I would like to be a VPS hosting company, like BODHOST's VPS'es and others. Basically just order a VPS and I can give a virtual machine to you and allocate resources. What server software would do the same on Debian linux?
Checkout xen.org. Xen is a virtualization grain and tools that enable your server to run virtual machines. Follow the instructions and you'll be up and running in no formerly.

Is it possible to run a real computer, (on an external drive, or another partition) inside a virtual machine?
Jun 25, 2008 by cmatt85 | Posted in Other - Hardware
I am rather experienced with computers and used virtual machines on a range of OS's (host and virtual).
I am currently dual-booting Linux(Debian-based) and Windows(vista).
My cast doubt upon really is: Can i use my windows inside a virtual machine on my Linux, or my Linux inside a virtual appliance on my Windows?
Any reply is appreciated!
If you're sophisticated with virtual machines and have done it before... why are you asking?
Anyway, go to http://www.vmware.com/ and download the free one. You can also (if this is what you're asking) solder to an already existing hard drive, partition, etc., and boot the OS that way. Works A LOT better with the already-existing Linux knotty drive than vice-versa.
It is Linux, Windows, etc., compatible as both a host and a lodger OS.
