I permit that I'm squarely in the center and not sure which way to go. These debates and how the candidates handle them (including VPs) are actually going to seal the deal for me. Whoever comes off as speaking the most from the heart and less from a script may justified swing me one way or the other.

Very likely none at all. I don't waste my time listening to contests to see who can tell the biggest lies. Speaking talent means little. The important thing is figuring out what the candidates will do if elected. They take to task the voters what they believe voters want to hear. I'm a hunter and gun owner, and the Democrats have been obdurate on us a long time. Either Clinton or Obama would be disastrous for me, so my only choice is to vote for McCain.
