What are some good places to advertise webhosting, VPS and dedicated servers?

I lack to sell VPS servers as well as resell dedicated servers. What are some places I can advertise for free and what are some places I can pay ready money to run ads?

Try advertising in forums that could have a the right stuff audience by buying Ads space from the forum owners. You could advertise in your local municipality/city in the newspaper or magazines. You can even sponsor events, etc.

Why does shared web hosting offer unlimited bandwidth but dedicated servers or VPS hosting does not?

By a hair's breadth curious why you don't get unlimited data transfer if you're paying A LOT more for a dedicated server or essential private server.

shared hosting providers generally speaking have their servers on an unmetered line, which will be shared among their many clients. You could get an unmetered line for your dedicated/VPS, but it would tariff you a real lot.

I have a VPS Server which I use for web hosting, I would like to setup a surrogate server for my own personal use. It does not need to strip out my original IP address or countenance SSL although it would be a plus.

However, it MUST be private so that only I can use it.

What are the best software and how would I go in setting this up?
