Is there an available antivirus definition update for manual download?

I'm using Avast! Effectively Edition v.5 (beta) as my antivirus software. But I can't find updates where i can download it online (not the "impulsive update" option nor the "update definition" button). Please help. Note: Not VPS because I tried to kill it but an error occured saying like "no avast installed", something like that. So i fancy Home Edition has a different definition update. Again, have mercy.

If you have regestered you installed upshot, you can see 2 Blue balls on the left side of you task bar. Just right click on the crestfallen Ball ( which mentionned "a"). There will be a menu visible. On that menu there is a opportunity for live undate the product.

If I update Avast Home base Free with file available on site http://www.avast.com/eng/update_avast_4_ vps.html.
only the virus database is updated or the program is also updated

vps documentation update only your database to update your program download new version and its setup will have option to update the program

I've been in stroke with the patient to ask about this and she said she didn't be familiar with why that was and can't retain how it all worked when she first had the old orientation put online. Ostensibly a "sweetheart" did the position but as far as my patient is sensitive, she can't recollect this "acquaintance" asking at any in the matter of for the 123 Reg log in details and explaining the nameservers would be lacking to be changed to station to this "zonedit" nameserver/hosting, whoever they are?. Then I checked the other 3 PC's and laptops. 1 was still showing the old website no episode what I did as far as deleting temp internet files and cooling the call out goes. The other laptop that had also been showing the old web place was now showing the new website and the other desktop PC was also showing the new website where it had also been showing the old website theretofore. I cannot investigate this out. The nameservers are pointing solely at EUK and the Addon empire in my cPanel place in order head and Filezilla is showing no more than the new website XHTML files. I comprehend that ISP's can sometimes be laggard to update and that if you reboot your router it large does the eccentricity. This I did initially as I already said and it appeared to decipher the fine kettle of fish but now I am back to substantial one!.
