do any one know of a tutorial on how to connect opensim on a windows based VPS?

I have a standalone sim hosted on my pc now but would like to hostess my own Virtual World on my VPS. it uses plesk 8.6 with windows 2003
with virtuozzo power panel.
Can anyone servants me on this?

I am not satisfied if this site necessarily has a video on exactly that topic, but it does have video tutorials on a category of VPS questions. Every video tutorial on this page deals with VPS. I'd recommend you at least glance over it. Foresee this helps!

VPS, windows or linux?

Philosophy about taking a VPS and i have the options of windows or linux.
I have various sites to install and for most of them it does not count to me which i use. However i also wish to offer a free and aid hosting service. For end users, which is best, and what are the differences?

I would go with Linux. Linux has a lot of unconfined software compared to Windows. There's a control panel called cPanel that only runs on Linux so having it installed will assuredly land you some sales. It's easy to use and powerful.

With Windows, you'll not only need to pay extra for the OS but also for MSSQL, IIS, etc. Some unrestricted software does run on Windows but it is not as stable.

Linux VPS can i run Windows Programs on a vps?

Ok, I was prospering to get a vps, but they are far to expensive for me, so i was looking at linux servers and they were much cheaper.

I need a vps for web hosting and hosting a ready server but both which i use are for windows only, now i think there is a program for linux which runs windows programs.

But i need to be versed if it works so can i run window programs on a linux vps or can you tell me a way how to.

or if you know a windows vps for under £15 ($15) please require me but i highly doubt that there is
